Read Local: Author Fair

For Readers:

Discover the voices of our community as local authors showcase their works. Write Local is an annual event at the Black Mountain Public Library where local authors from Buncombe County and beyond are invited to set up tables and share their writing.

For Writers:

Applications are open for author vendor spots.

Participation in the local author fair is by application only. A full list of terms and conditions can be found on the application page. Limited spaces are available. The library reserves the right to accept or reject any application at its discretion.

Our next Write Local event will take place on Saturday, November 21, 2026. A list of participating authors and their works will be available soon after the application has closed.
